Brain Hemorrhage

This shot looks just like a brain in formaldehyde with a bit of blood swirling inside for good measure. It’s sweet, tasty, and really popular. It looks creepy and disgusting, but once your guests know what’s in it, they won’t mind trying it so much. And once they try one, they’ll love it! It’s especially perfect for a zombie-themed party!

This drink can take a bit of practice to get it just right, so I recommend trying it in advance of your party.

What You’ll Need

Directions

  1. Pour the peach schnapps into the shot glass.
  2. Slowly add the Irish cream so that it forms a floating brain on top. Do not mix. If necessary, pour the over the bottom of a teaspoon to help control the flow.
  3. Add 1 or 2 drops of grenadine syrup and serve.

Tip: Add ¼ oz blue curaçao before pouring the grenadine to create an Alien Brain Hemorrhage!

Candy Corn Martini

People love their fancy martinis, and one infused with this iconic Halloween candy is sure to be popular at your party. Combine it with orange liqueur and you get a nice orange-coloured, candy-corn tasting martini, perfect for the occasion!

What You’ll Need

Directions

  1. Infuse the vodka by combining it with the candy corn in an airtight jar. Let sit for 3-4 hours, then strain vodka and remove candy corn.
  2. Pour the candy corn vodka, orange liqueur, and pineapple juice into a shaker filled with ice (I use crushed ice, but ice cubes work too).
  3. Shake well for 20-30 seconds.
  4. Pour into martini glass.
  5. Garnish by dropping 2-3 pieces of candy corn into the glass and serve.

Tip: If you don’t have any orange liqueur on hand, you can replace it with more pineapple juice, for a total of 3/4 cups of juice instead.
