Here are some easy Halloween kids’ activities for your October children’s party. I know that coming up with ideas can be challenging, especially if you’re not the naturally creative type. The internet is full of ideas, but sifting through them can be time-consuming and frustrating, particularly if you’re pressed for time.
Fortunately, there are inexpensive all-in-one CD and CD-ROM solutions that meet a wide range of your party planning needs in a single product for just a few dollars. Depending on the one you get, they include things like Halloween sound effects, music, party game instructions, recipes, and pumpkin carving stencils.
The one I use is the Kids’ Halloween Party 2 CD Set I picked up from Amazon a couple of years ago. It only cost me $5 and includes a lot. There’s an audio CD with sound effects that are creepy but not too spooky for kids, as well as a CD-ROM with PDFs for 100 games and crafts, 50 recipes, and 20 pumpkin carving patterns.
Honestly, it was so much easier than spending hours searching for this stuff online an in books and magazines. I don’t know about you, but when I’m planning a kids’ party my time is limited!
That being said, if you want to try something a little more involved, check out these other Halloween party games and activities that I use whenever I host a kids’ Halloween party. They’re always extremely popular with the youngsters!

So many great ideas in one place. Halloween is me and my girl’s favorite holiday we go all out. We have already decided on a vampire party this year. I can’t wait to show them all the awesome games and snack ideas on your site. I have already added your site to my favorites. I especially can’t wait to try the mummy race and Halloween twister I think my girl’s and their friends will love it. As well as the eyeball punch that sound so cool! I am so much more excited for Halloween to get here now! Thanks for all the wonderful information!
You’re very welcome Heather. I’m glad you found some inspiration! Don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any questions!
Hi Patrick,
It sounds like you really know how to have a great time at Halloween. I agree that there is so much information on the internet but not enough time to go out and collect it. I like your recommendation of the Kid’s Halloween Party 2 CD set. It sounds like a great use of $5. Do the CD’s break out the activities and games by age groups? A four year old is and a ten year old like different activities. I want to make sure I can use age appropriate activities. This sounds like a SPOOKY good time!
Hi Val. I’m glad to hear you found the information helpful. Sadly the CDs don’t break out the activities and games by age group, but I suppose perhaps that would be too much to expect for a $5 set. That said, the sound effects are absolutely appropriate for just about any age, as are the pumpkin stencils. As for the games and activities, there are some for all ages, but you’d have to think about your particular guests before deciding which ones to use. Of course, with so many to choose from, you’re bound to find several that will fit your guest list and party.
